Our greatest strengths are our greatest weaknesses

Angela S. Young explains this concept very well, “Our strengths and weaknesses are actually two sides of the same coin. If you look at them as on a continuum, you can see how they fit together. In reality, our weaknesses are merely our strengths out of balance. Tenacity becomes stubbornness when used in the wrong way. Organization over done becomes obsessive control disorder. Love over done becomes enabling.” [helium: 2009]

Our greatest strengths can come from our greatest weaknesses. Seeing an opportunity in every situation whether it is good or bad and making that opportunity count is what is important. We can take our weaknesses and make it our strengths if done correctly and with the correct intentions. We determine who we are and who we become, don’t view your weaknesses as an negative drawback but see it as an opportunity to turn something bad into something great.

Angela S. Young made a very true statement: “All of us are born with certain characteristics. Others develop over time as we grow and learn. These traits are not necessarily good or bad, it is what we do with them that make them good or not so good.” [helium: 2009]

We have the power to turn our weaknesses into our strengths and by doing that we can only reach success in life.

  1. I like the way you argue on this article, and I agree with you when you say 'we have the power to turn our weaknesses into our strengths.'
